If you are travelling to the Practice or to the Fish Quay for other reasons, please be aware that Tanners Bank is closed for 8 weeks as of next week! This is due to Nexus replacing Tanners Bank Bridge.
Tanners Bank will be closed under the Metro bridge to road vehicles and pedestrians for eight weeks, 20 June to 12 August 2022.
Tynemouth Road next to the bridge will be closed to all road vehicles for two weeks, 16 July to 29 July 2022 (pedestrian and cyclist access will be possible).
There will be redirections signposted to get on to the Fish Quay through North Shields town centre. All car parks on the Fish Quay will still be open as usual.
