Our hygienists are trained to a high standard, they take absolute pride in their work. Our patients describe them as ‘the best hygienists in the north east!’ 

During your hour-long appointment, our hygienists will take time and care providing you with an amazing clean. Any staining that has built up can be removed and your teeth will look beautiful. This isn’t all cosmetic though, if you suffer from any gum disease, our hygienists will be able to provide the best care and advice on how to help you improve your oral health. 

All this and we have massage chairs to help you fully relax during your appointment!

How can regular hygienist appointments help me?

1. According to the NHS, almost half of 35 year olds are affected* by some form of gum disease. Our dental hygienists can offer you personalised advice and treatment to to maintain improved oral hygiene to reduce the risk of gum disease and any further complications.
2. Visiting a hygienist regularly means less trips to see the dentist! Following the advice from the hygienist and maintaining healthy oral hygiene reduces the need for ongoing treatment from a dentist.
3. Whiter teeth! Hygienists provide a deep clean to your teeth, removing plaque and tartar deposits that have built up and affect the appearance of your teeth.
4. Hygienists also conduct an oral cancer screening at every appointment
5. Avoid bad breath with regular cleans and sticking to the advice your hygienist gives you!
