Our hygienists are trained to a high standard, they take absolute pride in their work. Our patients describe them as ‘the best hygienists in the north east!’ Our hygiene appointments are 1 hour long instead of the industry standard of 20 or 30 minutes, this includes air flow stain removal and deep cleaning for the gums.
During your hour long appointment, our hygienists will take time and care providing you with an amazing clean. Any staining that has built up can be removed and your teeth will look beautiful. This isn’t all cosmetic though, if you suffer from any gum disease, our hygienists will be able to provide the best care and advice on how to help you improve your oral health.
Our talented dentists will check the full health of your teeth and gums. They will take an x-ray and discuss the findings with you and advise if any treatment is needed. An oral cancer check will be carried out to ensure the full health of your mouth along with keeping an eye on any current restorations and existing dental conditions you may have.
We hope you won’t have to use these appointments, but if you have facial swelling, bleeding or severe pain, we guarantee to see you that day to get you out of pain. Obviously, though, if you call us 5 minutes before closing, we can’t guarantee we can help. If you start having problems, it’s best to call or email the practice ASAP.

I studied in Lviv and qualified in 2018 as a Doctor of Dental Medicine, I then travelled to England from Ukraine to train as a Dentist, I got my GDC registration and started working at Ewan Bramley.
I love digital treatment planning for patients, how digital technology and dentistry works together is the future! It’s really what I love so I spend a lot of time learning about it.

“First class treatment, I am practising smiling in the mirror because I stopped smiling due to the state of my front teeth. So starting to smile again all down to Ewan's expertise, they are fine now thanks to Ewan's great work. Also had the option of looking marvellous or good so I chose good and that's really really good indeed.
Also the ladies in reception and nurses are in class. I'm just over the moon meeting Ewan and his team as now I have the confidence to smile again, my implants are perfect.”
“Appointment with Elaine (hygienist). Brilliant lady, very friendly and sympathetic to any fears or concerns about procedures. I didn't have an appointment with Mr Bramley but mentioned a couple of things to Elaine and she arranged for me to see Mr Bramley without waiting for an appointment. I cannot praise everyone at the practice enough for my dental care.”
