We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family. However, when you do not cancel an appointment or cancel at late notice, you may be preventing another patient from getting much needed treatment. This also incurs a cost of time and money to the practice and individual clinicians.

Therefore, we would like to remind our patients of our Late Cancellation Policy.

A ‘Late Cancellation’ is classed as a cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment. If you do need to cancel please telephone or email the Practice as soon as you can so that we can try and accommodate other patients who may want your appointment.

Plan Patients

If you are a Plan Patient and incur a late cancellation, unfortunately you will lose that appointment. If you do wish to rebook, then you will need to pay for that appointment. We cannot guarantee to re-book your appointment within a reasonable time frame, we can only rebook your appointment when our books are available. Please also remember that you cannot roll over unbooked appointments to the next year.

Non-Plan Patients/Treatment Appointments

If you are a Non-Plan Patient and incur a late cancellation, we cannot guarantee to re-book your appointment within a reasonable time frame. Repeat offenders will need to pay a deposit which is is non-refundable if you miss your next appointment.

From time to time, we may need to reschedule your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, we will do our very best to get you seen within a reasonable time so that there are no major delays to your treatment.

We understand that there may be times which are unavoidable and you have to cancel at short notice, these will be reviewed by our Practice Manager case by case and we will work with you to avoid any delays to treatment.
